How & Why It’s Important to Validate Doctors Credentials?
Credentialing is a formal review and confirmation process that your doctor’s credentials are accurate, current and has the clinical experience you are looking for and can trust when selecting a medical provider.
Top10MD America’s FIRST & ONLY Standards-Based Patient to Doctor Advocacy Service goes beyond directory rating review sites and validates doctors credentials against a core set of standards. Top10MD credentials are monitored via an independent third-party credentialist. Doctors named are; board certified and licensed in the state they practice, medical licenses are not subject to excessive complaints and have not been sanctioned by the state medical board for serious patient care actions over the last ten years, have current malpractice insurance, current DEA and DPS registrations with no restrictions. And lastly, each of our doctors has five+ years experience and/or 300 procedures performed in their chosen specialty. Each of our doctors is implementing a patient satisfaction scoring system and will maintain a score of 8.5 or better.
The Top10MD credentialing process is designed to give you, the patient, peace of mind that the doctor you choose has the qualifications they represent and have met the core criteria of a Top10MD with experience you can trust.
